My Wellbeing Space CIC – AQA Unit Award Scheme Centre
We are delighted to announce the launch of My Wellbeing Space CIC – AQA Unit Award Scheme Centre, marking a significant milestone in the opportunities we provide for women and young people in our community.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Countryside Properties and Phoenix Way, whose funding has made it possible for us to establish and deliver this work. Their support has enabled us to create a centre that is safe, welcoming, and inspiring, where participants can develop essential life skills, build confidence, and achieve formally recognised milestones.
We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to Oasis Academy Hadley for generously providing space for our Homework Club and for actively referring students to take part in our work-experience programme. Their partnership has been instrumental in bringing these opportunities to life and ensuring that young people can access meaningful, accredited learning within their school community.
We would also like to acknowledge the invaluable contribution of the coaches at PowerboxFitness for their expertise, encouragement, and commitment in delivering the boxing sessions for young people. Their involvement has been instrumental in creating a positive and empowering environment where learners can build confidence, discipline, and self-belief while working towards recognised qualifications.
The first programmes we have launched through our centre are our AQA-accredited initiatives, including the Homework Club and Work Experience Programme at Oasis Academy Hadley, Boxing Sessions at Ponders End Youth and Family Hub, and our Creative Workshops. Through these sessions, learners gain valuable skills, celebrate their progress, and prepare for future education, training, and career opportunities.
Enrolled learners receive formal AQA certificates for every unit they complete, helping to develop confidence, focus, and engagement. These certificates form part of a growing portfolio of evidence, showcasing each learner’s achievements and learning journey. They also support applications for college, university, and employment, providing clear proof of skills, experience, and personal development for CVs and personal statements.
Our units are designed to enable learners to gain recognition across a wide range of skills and knowledge without the pressure of exams or formal assessment, making achievement accessible and meaningful for everyone.
With AQA accreditation, learning is celebrated, progress is recognised, and every achievement counts.

Celebrating Our First AQA-Accredited Boxing Cohort
We are proud to share highlights from some of our first cohort of learners to gain their AQA certificates in boxing, delivered in partnership with the coaches from Powerbox Fitness at Joe Morris Boxing Club. These sessions highlight how physical activity, discipline, and personal development can be recognised through accredited achievement.
The boxing programme provides a positive, purposeful space where young people can channel their energy, build routine and resilience, and develop confidence in a safe and supportive environment. By offering engaging, accredited activities within the community, the programme helps keep young people connected to positive pathways, away from harmful influences, and actively involved in something that supports their wellbeing, aspirations, and future opportunities.
